This intensive revision course covers the major topics examined for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists’ FRCOphth Part I Fellowship and International Council of Ophthalmology’s Basic Science assessments.
Which is the best course for FRCOphth revision?
The course also includes theoretical optics and refraction, plus advice on exam techniques, taught by experts in the field (UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, Moorfields Eye Hospital and other departments). NB: A password is required for subsidised rate bookings.
Are there any original images for FRCOphth study notes?
I planned (and started trying) to make original images to complement the notes but this has proved very labour intensive (and I’m apparently too lazy). I may resume making images someday but in the meantime, there are plenty of other resources with better quality and more useful images than I could ever make right now.
Where can I get a copy of FRCOphth?
Tricky book to get a hold of but there may be a copy in your local medical/hospital library or you may find a second hand copy online. It is not comprehensive but nice to work through and I think the content maps closely to the level of the exam. Nice way to passively test your knowledge.
